PEGASUS (Greek word – A Mythological White Horse with Wings)
SPYWARE (It is a software with malicious behavior that aims to gather
information about a person or organization and send it to another entity in a way that harms the user)

SPYWARE is developed by an Israeli
Company NSA GROUP (N stands for Niv Carmi,
S stands for Shalev Hulio and A stands for Omri Lavie), basically these are the
names of the Founders of the NSA GROUP.

NSO directly charges a flat $500,000 (around Rs 3.7 crore) fee for installing Pegasus. It
charges government agencies $650,000 (Rs 4.8 crore) to spy on 10 iPhones;
$650,000 for 10 Android users; $500,000 for five BlackBerry users; or $300,000
for five Symbian users.
One hundred additional targets will cost $800,000 (around Rs 5.9 crore), 50 extra targets cost $500,000,
20 extra will cost $250,000 (Rs 1.8 crore) and 10 extra costs $150,000 (Rs 1.1
crore).
Now, What’s the problem?
The problem is that the government is also used to spy on it for other uses. It has revealed that the massive data is leaked of Israeli NSA GROUP‘s spyware is used to target activists, journalists, and political leaders globally.
Recently France based organization Forbidden Stories and Amnesty International laid their hands on a leaked list of 50000 phone numbers, which were targets or potential targets of snooping by Pegasus, which is spyware built by Israel company NSO group. These revelations were made open to the world by 17 media organizations in 10 countries, like The Guardian, The Washington Post, Le Monde, and Indian news portal The Wire. The list included 300 Indians - politicians like Rahul Gandhi, Abhishek Banerjee, Prashant Kishore, many activists and journalists like Rohini Singh, Vijaita Singh. The BJP-headed Indian government has denied allegations of snooping.

Business Executives, 189 Journalists, 85 Human Right Activists, and 50,000 Phone
Numbers Leaked.
And also the French President EMMANUEL
MACRON said that the Pegasus Spyware was found in his Phone, so he
destroyed that Phone. And JEFF BEZOS, RAHUL GANDHI, PRASHANT
KISHOR and the nephew of Mamta Banerjee, i.e. ABHISHEK
BANERJEE also became a victim of the PEGASUS SPYWARE.
